Closure Info

After much consideration and consultation with the New Mexico Behavioral Health Services Division [BHSD], the Valle del Sol Leadership Team in concurrence with the Valle del Sol Board of Directors has decided to cease operations in New Mexico. The last day of services will be July 30, 2021.

While this was a difficult decision, Valle del Sol of New Mexico has sustained financial hardship due to Covid-19 that has posed a challenge to retaining staff and serving patients in a way that is sustainable. Our agency is committed to transitioning patients in a culturally inclusive and clinically appropriate manner to one of the Behavioral Health providers contracted with BHSD.

We are grateful for the opportunity to serve New Mexican patients and to have spent the last 8 years providing care to vulnerable populations throughout the state. We look forward to our patients transitioning to locally owned service providers.
