The Clinical Director is responsible for the overall, smooth operation of direct care services provided by our central clinics located in Los Lunas, Bernalillo, Grants, Moriarty, and Santa Rosa. The Clinical Director supervises clinical leads/therapists in delivery and assessment of behavioral health services according to Best Practices guidelines; ensures the delivery of quality services and timely completion of required documentation; monitors productivity and contract compliance; ensures compliance with regulatory and licensing entities, and oversees appropriate resolution of clinical issues. This position serves as customer service liaison with external stakeholders and functions as a champion for the New Mexico Behavioral Health Collaborative in all interactions with consumers, staff, stakeholders and funding sources.


  • Independent License required LISW, LPCC, LMFT – LCSW strongly preferred
  • Master’s degree and minimum five years working in Behavioral Health setting
  • Must be able to demonstrate sufficient knowledge and understanding of human behavior
  • Must have knowledge of multicultural populations
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook and Electronic Health Records Preferred
  • Must be able to provide culturally sensitive services
  • Must have a current CPR & First Aid certification or receive training within 90 days of hire date.
  • Must have a current Handle with Care certification or receive training within 90 days of hire date.
  • Must have or be able to obtain valid fingerprint clearance.
  • Must possess valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance.


  • Supervisory Experience Preferred
  • Experience working with low income-level families is helpful


  • Physical: Ability to drive, heat tolerant during summer months, legible penmanship.
  • Mental: Ability to deal with emotional and/or stressful situations.
  • Environmental: Most work is performed in an office environment
